Funded as part of the response of the Union to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tartu Veekeskus OÜ / Aura Keskus will build a family area on the partly empty terrace area of the water centre with the help of a grant, consisting of a children’s pool, a steam sauna, a tropical room, and a rain room. The purpose of the expansion is to increase the share of family tourists in Aura Centre by making it the water park and spa with the largest children’s area in Southern Estonia. The expansion will motivate family tourists from Estonia and Latvia to visit Tartu more than before. The project is supported within the framework of ‘Tourism sector product development support’ of the European Regional Development Fund in the amount of 195,195 euros.
